Just in time for the holidays, Little Pearl Publishing, a small publishing house in New Mexico, is releasing a cookie cookbook that has been fifty years in the making – and it’s free this weekend on Amazon. The new book, The Christmas Cookie Plate, shares the story of the Russell’s, a New Mexican family of seven that has been baking spectacular Christmas plates filled with goodies for their neighbors and family for over thirty years. The book, of course, also contains 35 of the Russell’s all-time best cookie and bar recipes, ones that have won numerous awards and that have been passed down in the family for generations.
