Fairfield University, in Fairfield, CT, explores the prolific career of artist Colleen Browning (1918-2003) in two concurrent exhibitions, at the Bellarmine Museum of Art’s "The Early Works" features early works on paper and signature oils from the 1950s, and the Thomas J. Walsh Art Gallery's "A Brush with Magic" presenting a selection of compelling oil paintings created in the years after 1960. Both exhibitions are currently on view through March 24, 2013.
